Is the Organization Eligible?

Control

The eligible Directors/Trustees of the applicant non-profit must exercise dominant control over policy and financial planning and set and monitor standards for day-to-day control of the organization. These conditions should be reflected in the non-profit organization’s corporate documents. Again, if there is a voting membership entitled to elect the Board of Directors/Trustees, fifty-one percent (51%) of the voting membership must be either minority group members or women.
